History in brief
The activities in Salon sairaala were begun in 1935. In 1958 its name was changed into Salo Regional Hospital (Salon aluesairaala). In 1998 it was merged with Halikon sairaala and the name was changed into Salon seudun sairaala. In 2006 Halikon sairaala was merged with the psychiatric division of the hospital district and Salon seudun sairaala again became Salo Regional Hospital (Salon aluesairaala).
